Our Process
Environmental Projects require environmental data that is suitable for decision making. These decisions determine how land, air and water within and around environmental sites will be used, assessed, monitored, and/or remediated.
Our initial phase involves understanding the environmental project requirements and goals to develop a tailored strategy for success. We prioritize clear communication and collaboration throughout this stage. Depending on the service needs of our clients, we will participate in scoping meetings, quality assurance meetings and project team meetings to fine tune requirements and timelines to deliver exactly what our clients need for successful project execution.
Project Planning
The first step to quality data is planning. Project Management Plans define the processes required to achieve the desired scope of work on time and within budget. These plans also ensure that the work completed and the data collected are with established project requirements. These plans are the road maps environmental projects follow o maximize project success.
Some Federal and State projects may require a Uniform Federal Policy for Quality Assurance Project Plan (UFP-QAPP). This planning document integrates "technical and quality control aspects of a project including, planning, implementation, assessment and corrective actions." A UFP-QAPP is the blueprint for the entire project and each task within the project to ensure that reliable data will be used to meet the projects overall objectives.
Data Evaluation
Once project planning is completed, implementation of the environmental project follows. As project tasks are completed, environmental data is generated, based in which, important decisions will be made. This data must be evaluated for errors and compliance with regulatory and contract requirements as well as data useability so that the decisions are appropriate and defensible.

In the event that an established client must have a technical deliverable submitted, has not had an opportunity to complete a peer review, and is running short on time, let AQS help you. This expedited service is reserved for established clients, even if we are not currently working on one of your projects. We can assist you with the review of:
